STAR WARS: Since there are no Star Wars Lego birthday party supplies. I created this invitation and supporting pieces (see t-shirts) for this six year old's birthday party. This was created in Photoshop CS5.

PHINEAS & FERB: This foldout card was printed on regular card stock, but had a background treatment that made it appear patterned. The image was created in Photoshop CS5 and merged into MS Word 2011 to allow each invitation to be customized to the recipient. The corresponding "thank you" note was a sent on a 8.5 x 11 piece of card stock, so the birthday boy had enough room to write a proper thank you.

MICKEY: Based on Andy Warhol's original, this is a simple postcard invitation. To customize the card, the Photoshop image was inserted into MS Word 2011 and merged (via a mail merge) with the MS Excel invitation list. Since both sides of the postcard had the merged information, there was no need to even write in addresses.

KICKBALL: This customized invitation was to a kickball birthday party. Since the birthday boy's name began with "G," a tattoo was added to the kickballer's arm. This was meant to commemorate the special birthday of November 11, 2011, and show that kickball can be seen as a sport too (Created in Illustrator and Photoshop CS5; please see corresponding t-shirt).

NATURE: Hosted at a nature preserve, this invitation plays on letters in nature. The various photographs spell out the "Elliot (heart) Nature." The child's name was also duplicated in signs around the nature preserve where the guests fished, enjoyed a scavenger hunt, and played outside (A mixture of stock and original photos; created in Photoshop CS5).
